Update: FAI World Drone Racing Championships
Calling all drone racing fans! The FAI has today released a joint statement – in conjunction with the Aero Sports Federation of China (ASFC) – revealing the latest details about the next edition of the FAI World Drone Racing Championships.
The statement, which confirms the event will take place between November 2019 and early 2020, also includes further information for all those hoping to take part.

Young competitors are possibly the most enriching aspect of our international competitions, besides being living proof that our sport has a future. CIAM (FAI Aeromodelling Commission) allows the participation of juniors in all competition categories. For many girls and boys, however, getting there involves a long and difficult journey.

If you like drone racing, you'll love this amazing new full highlights video from the FAI World Drone Racing Championships 2018, which was held in Shenzhen, China from 1 to 4 November last year.
It's our final video from this fantastic, action-packed event - a first for the FAI - which brought together 128 of the world's best drone racers, including 44 juniors and 13 women, from a total of 34 different countries.
