Excitement is building in Narromine, New South Wales, Australia ahead of the 37th edition of the FAI World Gliding Championships which runs between 2nd to 16th December 2023. Eighty competitors will represent 21 nations at the event.

The seventh and final day of the 2nd FAI Virtual Sailplane Grand Prix came to a dramatic conclusion on Saturday 2nd September, with the top ten competitors all dashing over the finish line within the same minute!

Forty-eight of the world’s best female pilots are eagerly awaiting the first task of the 12th FAI Women’s World Gliding Championships in Soria, Spain.

In 2022, France entered pilots into the 21st FAI European Championships in Lithuania, the 37th FAI World Championships in Hungary, The 12th FAI Junior World Championships in the Czech Republic and the 11th FAI Women's World Championships in Great Britain. In the Women’s world gliding competitions in 2022, the French team took a silver, topping this with a team cup gold at the World Championships.
