Is the IPPI-card accepted in your country ?

Not in law, but it´s recommended because PP/SP – IPPI card level are similar than Finnish system and easier for clubs. Still flight diary are more important.

What is the minimum legal coverage ?

It is not required by law, it could be some airports or airfields.
Most of all pg/hg pilots in Finland are members of the Finnish Aeronautical Association and we insure pg/hg members third part up to 1 million euros. It´s valid in Europe.

What additional coverage does your country recommend (such as medical insurance, search and rescue etc...) ?

Membership in the Finnish Aeronautical Association gives the following significant benefits who lives in Finland: Accident insurance medical coverage up to 15 000 euros, disability up to 30 000 euros and death up to 8 500 euros. Valid all over world.

Is your NAC prepared to provide a special insurance coverage for guest pilots who do not comply with your national law ?

We recommend guests to take insurance from their own country or elsewhere. Finnish insurance companys don´t give insurance for hang- or paragliding for guests.
