E-Drone Racing World Cup
2024 Saudi Arabia e-Drone Racing World Cup Event
The racing track for the fifth event was located in AlUla's beloved Elephant Roc environment which is a must-see spot in Saudi Arabia. This natural marvel, shaped by millions of years of erosion, rises 52 meters high.
The length of the track was about 815 m with 3 laps to complete.
The drone to fly was the Standard model with its default settings implemented in the simulator.
Registration: Saturday October 19 to Sunday November 17 - Qualification: Monday 11 November to Sunday November 17 (6 days) - Competition: Sunday November 17 and Tuesday November 19

COMPETITION - First ROUND - SUNday NOVEMBER 17
The 57 pilots placed in the qualification stage participated to the first round of the competition.
The first round included 8 races with 7 to 8 pilots per race. The 4 best placed pilots in each race had been qualified for the second part of the competition (32 pilots concerned in total), the other pilots being eliminated.
COMPETITION - SECOND PART - TUESDAY NOVEMBER 19
The second part of the competition concerned the 32 pilots qualified from the first round. All races were planned with 4 pilots per race. So, this part included 1/8th finals, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals (16 races in total). The 2 best placed pilots had been qualified for the next round, the other pilots being eliminated.
This part had been livestreamed with an English language commentator with possibility to access in real time on the FAI YouTube channel, EreaDrone YouTube and Twitch channels.
