A former ski racer, Frank studied Sports Law in Germany and Switzerland, finally specialising in Aviation. Whilst practising after graduation, he built up experience in investigating major air crashes, and used his expertise to help various international aviation projects, with airlines, airports and related suppliers. With the growth of UAVs in recent years, Frank was asked to lead a Working Group on ISO to develop the worldwide standards of UAV.
