Colombia welcomes the Paragliding World Championship
The 14th FAI World Paragliding Championship has started on January 10th in Roldanillo, Colombia, with 148 pilots and 38 nations.
Sunday, the opening ceremony turned into a town festival with a Carneval floats parade and thousands of spectators.
Monday was a practice task day, neccesary for organization and pilots to iron out small issues that can ruin a good task day.
Tuesday and Task 1 saw 138 pilots at goal, 86km away.
Task 2 was set at 106km and 85 pilots made goal.
