Wieczorek wins the 20th World Precision Flying Championships
The 20th World Precision Flying Championships was held in Brits, South Africa from 23-29 October 2011.
The winner of the event was Michal Wieczorek (Poland). He was followed by Boleslaw Radmoski (Poland) in 2nd position and Michal Filip (Czech Republic) in 3rd position.
Poland were the winners of the team trophy with the Czech Republic and France in 2nd and 3rd prosition respectively. The team landing was also dominated by Poland. They were joined on the podium by South Africa and France in 2nd and 3rd prosition respectively.
The Czech Republic fared well in the individual navigation trophy by taking up three of the top five positions. The navigation trophy winner was Jiri Fillip (Czech Republic), followed by Eric Daspet (France) and Boleslaw Radomski (Poland).
