Main decisions taken at the FAI Ballooning Commission 2013 Annual Meeting

The 2013 Annual Meeting of the FAI Ballooning Commission (CIA) was held from 20 to 23 March 2013 in Rio, Brazil.

Here are the main decisions that were taken during the meeting:

  • 18th FAI European Hot Air Balloon Championship, Wloclawek, Poland (6-14 Sept)
  • Tochigi Hot Air Balloon International Championship, Tochigi, Japan (19 – 24 Nov)
  • 18th Coupe d’Europe de Montgolfieres & Ladies World Cup, Mainfonds,  France (1 -4 Aug)

2014

  • 21st FAI World Hot Air Balloon Championship, Sao Carlos, Brazil (18-27 July)

    Dates: 11 - 17 August
  • 3rd FAI Women’s European Hot Air Balloon Championship
    Awarded to: Drenthe, Netherlands
    Dates: 15 - 19 September
