The Test event of the 2nd FAI Asian-Oceanic Paragliding Championships will be held in Mungyeong in the Republic of Korea on October 6-14, 2023. Mungyeing-city is situated in a mountainous area in the northeast area of the country. The take-off is located on Mungyeong Dan mountain which is a peak with an elevation of 860 m ASL. The flying season lasts all year round. Mungyeong Dan Mountain is a famous paragliding place in Korea offering good conditions even for beginner pilots. The usual flights are made along the long ridges and crossing valley and along the ridge of surrounding mountains. The flying site offers various routes to the east, west, and south directions.

This year the test event is run together with PWC Asian Tour and the payment is managed by PWC so all pilot planning to take part in the competition should register on both websites (CIVLCOMPS.org and PWCA.org)  to be correctly ranked in WPRS and proceed with the payment (as payment is managed by PWC).
