IBD 2025-04 - Sporting Code Section 5, 3.2 Competition Records

The 2025 version of the ISC Sporting Code, Section 5 has been in effect from March 1st, 2025.    After publication, it was noted that item 3.2, regarding Competition Records, was rewritten in such a way that it could be misinterpreted.  When the rule was changed, the words "National Championship" changed position in the first line, which could have been interpreted that it would be a requirement for a National Championship to be registered and included in the FAI Sporting Calender, which was never the intent.  The Chair of the Rules and Regulations Committee has requested that the Bureau of the ISC issue an Interim Bureau Decision to agree that the wording in 3.2 be returned to the same wording which was used in the 2024 edition of SC5.   

The Bureau of the International Skydiving Commission has taken the unanimous decision to allow this change, and has Issued an Interim Bureau Decision (IBD 2025-04).   The IBD has been published on the Documents page of the ISC Website.
