The 10th FAI World Canopy Piloting Championships and 4th FAI World Canopy Piloting Freestyle Championships kicked off today with their first official training day.

Following a prolonged weather delay due to clouds and high winds, competitors finally took to the skies. They focused on honing their Zone Accuracy skills, with some successfully hitting the centre box.

The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday 24 September, with the competition commencing on Wednesday 25 September. The event will conclude on Sunday 29 September, culminating in the Prize-giving ceremony.

It’s going to be an interesting competition!
