Competitors arrived shortly after sunrise, to calm, clear conditions on the ground, although the uppers were fairly strong from the beginning.

First take off was at 7am this morning, with the completion of Distance before lunchtime. Unfortunately, the wind picked up beyond the competition limits, which grounded the competitors for the remainder of the day. We will resume tomorrow bright and early.

New Continental Records were set, and Cornelia Mihai from the UAE potentially set a new World Record in the Female category (all records pending FAI ratification).
