2021 FAI World Parachuting Championships - Mondial

Today is the start of the World Championships here in Tanay and Kemerovo, Russia. A journey that started over three years ago when the bid was accepted.

The Championships are dived into two different Drop Zones, one in Kemerovo for Style&Accuracy, the other in Tanay for the rest of the events.

These Championships the first week comprise: 

• 36th FAI World Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing Championships
• 10th FAI Junior World Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing Championships
• 24th FAI World Formation Skydiving Championships
• 8th FAI World Canopy Piloting Championships
• 2nd FAI World Canopy Piloting Freestyle Championships
• 3rd FAI World Speed Skydiving Championships

A quick glance at the numbers shows we have 31 countries registered. The largest contingent is from the host, numbering 98 competitors.

MONDAY, AUGUST 16

Tomorrow the second week of the Championships at the Mondial will start.

The second week comprise:

• 19th FAI World Canopy Flying Championships
• 13th FAI World Artistic Events Championships
• 3rd FAI World Wingsuit Flying Championships
