The last test before the 17th FAI Para-Ski World Championships 2019 is the final event of 2019 Para-Ski World Cup Series (PS WCS) http://paraski.org  in Bad Leonfelden/ Austria.

In 2019 the World Cup Series as an FAI Second Category Event consists of 3 events: Disentis/Switzerland, Ponte di Legno/ Italy and now Bad Leonfelden in Upper Austria close to the Czech border as the final event.

The organsing parachuting club, HFSC Freistadt is ready to host the WCS finals,  the helicopter, AB212 has already been used for a training week,  on site. http://www.skydive-freistadt.at/?page_id=904 

The whole club is supporting the chairman Percy Hirsch in working for the competition venue setup and logistic background. 

On the Accuracy Landing competition part, there is quite some experience around the target with 6 previous FAI chief judges:

Meet Director is Arnold Hohenegger, a  well know Austrian member of IPC Speed Skydiving and IPC Judges Committee.

As judges in the target are: the chair of IPC Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing Committee, Günther Berendt (GER), the chair of IPC Para-Ski Committee, Michael Egger (AUT), the 2017/19 FAI Para-Ski WPC CJ Dare Svetina (SLO), and from Austria the CJ of the last FAI Speed WPC Angelka Mittasch, the provider of Accuracy Landing scoring system, Franz Singraber and Hubert Graser, the father of multiple FAI record holder Sebastian Graser.

The designated CJ of the World Cup Sseries finals in Bad Leonfelden, is Gernot Rittenschober (AUT), who had been CJ at FAI Para-Ski WPCs in 2001 and 2014/15 and Meet Director at 16th WPC 2017, this year he will act as FAI controller for the upcoming Para-Ski WPC in Vrchlabi.

Franz Singraber is also providing the Para-Ski result software and he has worked with Intime (Claire and Dirk) to get the file format ready for instant result upload to http://results.worldskydiving.org/

The WCS results from SUI and ITA are there already in the new layout, the upcoming Bad Leonfelden scores will be added.
